My passion for the designing and construction of
jewelry began in the early 70s.  While studying for my
fine arts degree in design I discovered the wonders of
the jewelry studio.  It was a perfect fit.  Following
graduation I concentrated my jewelry making mainly
to work in lost wax casting.  Then, after pursuing a
degree in business, I took a lengthy sabbatical from
jewelry to raise my daughters.  I was reintroduced to
the joys of creating jewelry in a metals class at
Penland School of Crafts.  I am now intrigued by the
fabrication process... of taking flat sheet or wire and
turning it into something sculptural.  This is a journey
that I am enjoying immensely.
